Directions to Krone in Matrei

We look forward to welcoming you to our house at Brennerstraße 54, 6143 Matrei am Brenner. Below you will find detailed instructions on how to reach us easily, whether you are arriving by car or train.

Arrival by car

From the direction of Innsbruck:

• Take the A13 Brenner highway in a southerly direction.
• Take the exit [Matrei/Steinach] and follow the signs towards Matrei am Brenner.
• Continue on the Brennerstraße/B182 until you reach Matrei.
• The traditional Hotel Krone is located on the right-hand side of the main road.

From the direction of Brenner/Italy:

• Drive north on the A13 Brenner highway.
• Take the exit [Matrei/Steinach] and follow the signs towards Matrei am Brenner.
• Follow the Brennerstraße/B182 in the direction of Matrei. The hotel is located on the right-hand side, just before you reach the town center.

Parking facilities: Our guests enjoy the advantage of free parking directly at the hotel.

Arrival by train

From Innsbruck main station:

• Take a train in the direction of Brenner and get off in Matrei am Brenner.
• Walk towards the village center (walking time approx. 5 minutes)
• The traditional Hotel Krone is located on the right-hand side on the main street.

Train connections: Visit the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) website at oebb.at or use the ÖBB app to plan your train journey.
